Practice Manager

I have been the Practice Manager at Avondale Dental since 2004. I have always loved the challenges that come along with the running a very busy practice and where all the staff enjoy working together as a team.

Getting to know most of our patients on a first name basis always makes the day enjoyable when they arrive for their dental treatment.

Dental Assistant

I started working for Avondale Dental in 2010 as a dental assistant working for Tim Little. After my first year I studied with the NZDA where I passed and achieved my certificate as a qualified dental assistant. I continue to learn many more skills with full encouragement from Tim Little.

Dental Assistant

I started working with Avondale Dental in March 2012 and work as a dental assistant for Victor Young. I love working with all the modern technology and meeting our great patients. I like to think that our great team make our patients feel that visiting the dentist can be a surprisingly pleasant experience.

E4D Technician

I have been part of the Avondale Dental team since 2004. For the first few years I assisted with Victor Young as his dental assistant. I am also a Certified NZ Dental Assistant.

When the practice purchased a state of the art CAD CAM Crown Design and Milling Centre, I was put in charge of this.

I am a certified technician of the E4D CAD CAM design and one of the most experienced operators of this technology in New Zealand.

I get great satisfaction is seeing the high quality crowns that the E4D machine produces and the huge smiles that our patients walk out with.

Dental Assistant

Over my past 16 years at Avondale Dental I have enjoyed a variety of roles including Charge Sterilising Nurse, Associate Assistant, and now Dental Assistant to Dr Amy White. It was here that I gained my NZDA Qualification in Dental Assisting, and my many years of experience mean that I can easily assist in any sort of procedure.

Although I work full time with Dr Amy White now I still love helping out the rest of our team wherever I can to keep the clinic well organised and everyone happy.

I started with Avondale Dental in 2004 as the full time receptionist. I left in 2006 to start my family when the chance arose to come back part time, I jumped at the chance to work with this amazing team again.

Receptionist and Sterilising Administrator

I began working at Avondale Dental as a sterilisation nurse in 2015. I have since developed my role and now am one of three receptionists, and also oversee the ongoing training of our sterilising staff. I enjoy meeting and getting to know our patients as well as working with a good team.

Oral Health Therapist

I have been working in the dental industry for around 10 years. With a background in dental assisting, I then went on to study at AUT & graduated with a bachelor of oral health in 2014. My experience as an oral health therapist ranges from dental therapy with children and adolescents through to managing complex periodontal cases in dental hygiene. I enjoy getting to know my patients and focus on painless treatment to achieve smiles that patients will be proud of.

Reception Coordinator

I have worked in various roles in the dental industry for 29 years including dental assisting, sales and reception. I enjoy meeting and greeting our patients and understand the importance of making them feel at ease.

Sterilising Nurse

In late 2017 I immigrated to New Zealand from Serbia and was lucky enough to gain this great job as sterilising nurse at Avondale Dental. I also have a degree in Travel and Tourism and really enjoy living in New Zealand where I can spend a lot of time in the outdoors.
